Ability Progression
Upgrading Player through each version unlocks progressively stronger bonuses. V1 provides the foundation — the core passive that defines this race's identity. Each subsequent upgrade amplifies those bonuses and introduces new mechanics.
Starting point. Player's will: +weapon DMG This is available as soon as you roll or obtain Player, with no upgrade cost required.
First upgrade. +35% DMG Also grants: Adaptive bonus: +5% DMG per 10% missing HP. Completing the V2 upgrade is recommended as soon as possible since the improvement in combat power is significant.
Second upgrade. True Player form: all stats +20% for 20 seconds V3 is where most races hit their stride for mid-to-late game content.
