Sailor Piece Sea 2 Guide — Unlock, Map Pieces, Relics & Bosses

Post-launch Sailor Piece Sea 2 guide covering the unlock quest, 2 Ancient Fragments, 7 Map Pieces, World Island, new islands, Relics, Bloodlines, Guilds, Sea Beasts, and bosses.

Sea 2 Overview

Sea 2 is now live. It adds a second ocean layer, raises the tracked level cap to 16,000, adds World Island as the Sea 1 gateway, and introduces Sea 2 islands, Sea Beasts, World Bosses, Bloodlines, Relics, Guilds, new melee styles, Dragon Goddess materials, and update-specific damage reduction. Treat this as a post-launch route guide, not a pre-update checklist: the main player question is now how to unlock Sea 2 and what to farm first after arriving.

How to Unlock Sea 2

Start on World Island in Sea 1 and talk to the Sea 2 travel NPC. The unlock route has two parts: first collect 2 Ancient Fragments from the Sea 1 spawn pool, then farm 7 Map Pieces from linked Sea 1 bosses. Return to World Island after both steps are complete to travel into Sea 2. If your quest looks stuck, talk to the Sea 2 NPC again to check which map piece is still missing.

Step 1: Collect 2 Ancient Fragments

You only need 2 Ancient Fragments to start the unlock, even though the known spawn pool has 20 locations across Sea 1. The fastest route is to check nearby low-risk locations first, then rotate through islands you already use for farming. Our Ancient Fragment page lists every known location, including Starter Island, Sailor Island, Desert, Snow, Shibuya, Hollow, Shinjuku, Slime, Academy, Judgment, Ninja, and Lawless. Fragment timing is disputed across public sources, so use the in-game spawn cycle as the final check and avoid relying on one old timer.

Step 2: Farm 7 Map Pieces

After the fragments, the route asks for 7 Map Pieces. Current public routing ties them to Sea 1 boss pools: Map 1 from Saber or Yuji, Map 2 from Gojo or Sukuna, Map 3 from Jinwoo or Qin Shi, Map 4 from Alucard (a.k.a. Vampire King) at Sailor Island, or Anos at Academy Island as alternative, Map 5 from Aizen or Rimuru, Map 6 from Ichigo, Blessed Maiden, or Strongest in History, and Map 7 from Gilgamesh. The most common blocker reported by players is being stuck at 6/7 because Map 4 from Alucard is easy to miss.

Sea 2 Islands

The currently tracked Sea 2 island layer includes World Island Sea 2, Starter Island Sea 2, Bizarre Island, and Punch Island, with World Island in Sea 1 acting as the unlock hub. Bizarre Island is important for The World route and Relic crafting. Punch Island is tied to higher-level Sea 2 progression and the Cosmic Being world boss route. Keep Sea 1 and Sea 2 routes separate when planning, because Sea 2 NPCs and bosses use higher damage reduction and higher HP scaling.

New Systems: Relics, Bloodlines, and Guilds

Relics are craftable Sea 2 equipment bonuses. The Relic Crafter is tracked on Bizarre Island, and the currently confirmed craftable set includes Damage Relic, Luck Relic, Crit Chance Relic, and Crit Damage Relic. Bloodlines use Bloodline Stones and act as a new progression layer after Sea 2. Guilds add group progression, member caps, points, leaderboard rewards, and ranks. These systems deserve dedicated pages because players search for recipes, part routes, and requirements separately from the basic Sea 2 unlock.

Bosses and Sea Beasts

Sea 2 adds Sea Beasts such as Kraken and Sea Serpent, plus world-boss and summon-boss routes. Sea Beasts are tied to Dragon Goddess materials and Dragon Queen title farming. Cosmic Being is a world boss route, while The World and Great Mage have their own boss chains and material gates. Build around survivability and damage uptime: Sea 2 normal NPCs, bosses, world bosses, and sea beasts all have stronger damage reduction than earlier Sea 1 content.

Recommended Priority Route

1. Finish the World Island unlock route. 2. Confirm which Map Piece you are missing before farming random bosses. 3. Stabilize your build with a high-damage race, strong rune, and active code rewards. 4. Farm Starter Island Sea 2 and Bizarre Island NPCs for early Relic Parts and Bloodline Stone progression. 5. Move into world bosses and Sea Beasts only after your damage and survivability are high enough for the new reduction values.
