First Sea Overview
First Sea spans levels 0–750 and contains 12 major islands, 8 bosses, and 4 dungeons. It introduces every core game system and contains 70% of tutorial quests. Most players spend 20–40 hours in First Sea before transitioning to Second Sea at level 750.
Starter Island & Pirate Village (0-50)
Starter Island: Complete all 5 tutorial quests from the Marine Captain. They teach the quest interface, inventory, and fruit mechanics. Don't skip—they give 2,000 total bonus XP. Pirate Village: 6 side quests available from villagers. The Black Market merchant sells useful accessories (Iron Belt +5 Defense) for 500 Beli. Fight the Pirate King mini-boss at level 40 for first boss kill experience—he drops the Pirate Coat (cosmetic) and 200 Beli.
Jungle & Marine Fortress (50-150)
Jungle Island has the highest mob density in early First Sea—ideal for AoE fruit leveling. Collect 20 Gorilla Paws for the Jungle Chief quest reward: a free Uncommon accessory. Marine Fortress is mandatory for the Haki Trainer NPC activation quest at level 100. Defeat the Marine Admiral boss at level 120 for the Admiral's Badge accessory (+8% Haki damage).
Sword Island & Colosseum (150-300)
Sword Island houses the Swordsmith NPC who can enhance weapons. Bring 10 Iron Ore (dropped by Rock Golems) and your sword for a free +10% damage enhancement (one-time per sword). Colosseum unlocks the daily quest system at level 175—complete all 3 daily quests every day you play for consistent bonus XP and Beli income. The Colosseum Champion boss drops the Champion Armor (A-tier accessory).
Sky Islands & Beyond (300-500)
Sky Islands requires a Sky Boat (purchasable for 5,000 Beli) or the Sky Race V1 flight ability. The Observation Haki Master NPC is located here—begin your Observation training. Sky Island mobs are Elemental type, meaning you need Armament Haki to deal full damage. The Cloud Dungeon at level 350 gives the best loot-per-run in First Sea.
